TmaxSoft has completed the development of ProFrame 6.0, a C-language-based application framework, with its official release scheduled for the third quarter of 2025. This new version significantly enhances performance and stability while improving convenience for both developers and operators. ProFrame 6.0 is designed to support the complex system environments of enterprise clients, particularly within the financial sector, by integrating the latest technologies and offering a comprehensive integrated development environment (IDE).
The core improvements in ProFrame 6.0 focus on boosting development productivity and system operational efficiency. For developers, the framework now includes an Eclipse-based IDE, code auto-completion, project templates, a Command Line Interface (CLI), and chatbot support. System flexibility and efficiency are augmented by incorporating modern technologies such as the HTTP/2 protocol and large-volume file parallel processing. From an operational standpoint, ProFrame 6.0 offers support for various open-source tools including Kafka, Redis, and Git, alongside a library tracking function, an advanced monitoring system, and multilingual capabilities. The framework's architecture has also been optimized to be highly suitable for agile development environments.
Looking ahead, TmaxSoft plans to integrate an "AI Assistant" feature to support AI and cloud environments. To facilitate smooth transitions for existing users, TmaxSoft will provide the "ProFrame 6 Migrator," an automatic conversion tool designed for customers currently using versions 4 and 5. This tool aims to help clients reuse existing development assets and reduce conversion costs.
First launched in 2004, ProFrame has a proven track record of operational stability, having been adopted in large-scale next-generation systems across various sectors in Korea, including finance, telecommunications, public services, and manufacturing. Notably, it has been instrumental in building core banking systems for major domestic commercial banks. TmaxSoft aims to strengthen its market dominance in the financial framework sector by leveraging both ProFrame and its Java-based counterpart, ProObject. Lee Hyung-yong, CEO of TmaxSoft, emphasized the company's commitment to meeting diverse technological demands in next-generation system adoption, expanding beyond middleware into the framework market. TmaxSoft is scheduled to host an application framework seminar on July 11 in Seoul, where it will present app modernization strategies and case studies based on ProFrame and ProObject.
